Today’s Business: 2009-09-16

For lunch, we had a pound of baked chicken breast tenderloins.  Also, we boiled the rest of the green beans we bought this past Sunday, and we had some diet Pepsi. Not much cooking odor today. The hot sauce and butter mixture I drizzled over the chicken before baking smelled a little, but not much. The meal tasted quite good and filled us both up comfortably. Eight ounces of chicken apiece seems like a good amount to eat at a meal — not too much and not too little.  Tomorrow, we plan on having some salmon done on the George Foreman grill.

We watched our usual TV today, including The Young and the Restless, Dr. Phil. KDKA TV local news, NBC Nightly News, and CNN’s AC 360. We also checked out the show: Pittsburgh Today this morning.

Visited [Janarra].  She wants me to see if I can repair her braille writer.  It has numerous problems and likely requires a repair kit that costs a couple hundred dollars.  Well, we won’t be buying the kit but I’ll see if through oiling and straightening out bent parts, I can get it working reasonably well for her.  I’ll take a peak at it tonight and give it back to her tomorrow.

Cheese steak subs for dinner from Pizza Pronto.  Yum.  Seriously.  Yum!

Mostly sunny today with high temperatures in the low 70s.
