Today’s Business: 2009-10-05
Mom’s right foot appears more distorted since Friday, according to sister Christine and Mom herself. Sister Mary Ann is calling her doctors today to let them know.Â
Sister Diane and I visited Mom, to try and comfort her. She’s feeling a bit scared right now. However, Diane felt that the foot was just less swollen than before, and she didn’t see any unusual bone positions or further evidence of dislocation. However, there was a red mark on the top and side, just above the right big toe that Diane did treat. Also, they temporarily moved Mom to room 201, so she could have some quiet time, without having to hear her roommate playing the television. At the time we saw her, she was very tired, had a headache, and just didn’t feel very well overall. Probably a bit depressed as well.
Sister Diane and I then had lunch at Hoss’s. That $4.99 special they have is awesome. You get all-you-can-eat soup, salad, and dessert bar for this price. Not bad.
On the  Shed Roof Replacement Project,  the shingles have arrived. Picking them up the day after tomorrow.
Watched The Young and the Restless, NBC’s Nightly News, & Dr. phil.
On the  Wheelchair Ramp Project: Did an hour or so of measuring, calculating, and discussing of the proposed ramp for Mom.Â
Journaled for an hour.
Talked with [Emmy] to wrap up the day.
Mostly sunny today with high temperatures in the low to mid 6os.
