Talked with Mom at around 11:00 AM. I woke her from what sounded like a deep sleep. So I couldn’t tell if her weak and groggy voice was because she was still sick, or because she was just very tired. She said she wasn’t feeling much better. But it was good to see her sleeping, undisturbed, until I called that is.Â

She sure woke up in a hurry though, when I suggested cutting down that overgrown hemlock tree by the back porch to make ramp installation easier. Needless to say, she rejected this proposal. But the suggestion did clear her head for the rest of our conversation, which was good because I had other  Wheelchair Ramp Project  business to discuss as well. So, as I’ve found, if you want her awake and focused, just talk about chopping down a tree somewhere. You’ll quickly get her complete awareness, as well as her undivided attention and a bit of anger and irritation too. I promise.Â
