07:15 AM: Blood sugar: 209. Covered with 15 units insulin. She had a few ounces of pudding for breakfast.
12:45 PM: Blood sugar: 137. Covered with 15 units insulin, as she ate a big bowl of chicken noodle soup and some pudding.Â
01:00 PM: Mom’s physical therapist came and worked with her for about an hour, showing her exercises and demonstrating how to transfer from the scooter to the shower / tub, then back again.
03:47 PM: Blood sugar: 120.
05:00 PM: Covered with 15 units insulin. She’s eating sweet & sour chicken left overs from last night.
05:15 PM: Sister Diane came to check out the new wound on Mom’s left foot. She did not seem overly concerned, as the sore is very small at the moment.Â
05:20 PM: Then, Mom’s friend Pat came to chat for a while.
10:15 PM: Blood sugar: 189. Covered with 16 units of insulin as she was about to eat a slice of bread with peanut butter.
10:55 PM: Mom’s been in a great mood all day. It’s nice. She also thanked me for helping her out.Â
