Today’s Business: 2009-11-05
Thursday, November 5th, 200908:00 AM: I’m up, and doing my wake-up chores, which include cat duty, giving Mom her meds, and showering.
09:30 AM: Worked the Christmas lighting, 2009 project.
11:15 AM: Wrote 700 words toward the next Tom’s Love Quest blog post. It’s a story about the first time I kissed a girl — in bed. 
I think I’ll call it, My First Pillow Kiss.
04:40 PM: Watched today’s episode of The Young and the Restless.
08:40 PM: Just got back home from this month’s Lions Club meeting in Bellwood. For dinner, they served chicken, rolls, carrots in oil, fruit cup, baked potatoes and sour cream, bacon and lettuce salad, and coconut cream pie for dessert. The district governor spoke, and our club voted to donate $5000 to the local library to enable them to purchase a new copy machine and to fix ground-sinking problems in the entrance. Hmmm. didn’t we just give the library $10,000 a few years ago? I think this club spends too much on the library and not enough on blind and l0w-vision causes. So I’ll not be staying much longer. I just have to finish revising the policy manual, and hand that off to someone else to continue. Then, I’ll leave.
09:00 PM: Nap time, with Larry King Live on in the background. Dr. Phil and others are guests there, talking about the mass shootings at the Fort Hood today. Terrible, terrible incident.
10:00 PM: Talked with [Emmy] for a half hour or so.
11:00 PM: Watched a little AC 360, and now, I’m ready for bed. Have a great night, and see you tomorrow.
