Today’s Chores

  • Dispensing Mom’s meds
  • Cat duty
  • Checking which meds she’s getting low on, and then reordering the ones we need.  Sister JoJo and I will pick any of these up on Friday on our next shopping trip.

Log

07:00 AM: I’m up.

07:30 PM: Went through all documents in the   Tom’s Love Quest   blog that pertain to   [Shaina]   and linked all mentions of her to a search that retrieves all relevent documents.  Click   the aforementioned link to see those posts.  Also, I edited those posts so that they’d all show up in the search results; some of them didn’t before, but are fixed now.

08:30 AM: Processed all receipts from yesterday’s   shopping trip

09:00 AM: Mom agreed to contribute $100 toward the  Christmas lighting, 2009 project.  Nice.

10:15 AM: Read, signed and FAXed the updated subscriber agreement to  Promo Only, to keep the great new music coming.

10:45 AM: Signed and returned the change of address and ACH transfer enrollment forms to the   WPSBC alumni association’s   financial advisor.  Her receipt of this form should clear the way for the board-approved transfer of funds into the group’s checking account, from its investment account.

01:00 PM: Worked the  Christmas lighting, 2009 project.  Replaced lots of bad bulbs this morning while the weather is nice.

02:15 PM: Had lunch and helped Mom with her meds and her lunch.  Now, I think I’ll take a nap.  Stand by.  :-)

06:00 PM: Worked the   Christmas lighting, 2009 project.  I put up more lights this afternoon and toyed with a metal halide flood on the house.  It’s got some problems if we go that route to really light up the house in blue.  But it’s plenty bright.

06:40 PM: Received my first issue of Promo Only’s   Express Audio DFF   format, which arrives weekly.  It’s supposed to provide the latest music without having to wait for the next monthly issues of the more traditional monthly formats.  So you get the songs more quickly with EA-DFF.

09:15 PM: Talking to  [Emmy]  now.

11:00 PM: Watched today’s episode of   The Young and the Restless

11:15 PM: Now, I’m going to bed.  Catch you tomorrow.

Mom’s Meds Order: 2009-11-09

Monday, November 9th, 2009

09:15 AM: Ordered refills of the following meds for pick-up this Friday:

  • Atenolol
  • Warfarin
  • Digoxin
  • Potassium
  • Magnesium Oxide

The mag oxide and potassium require doctor authorization to refill.  So I’ll check back with the pharmacy on Wednesday to see if they got this authorization.

Also, she needs to ask her doctor about the following:

  1. Renewing the spironolactone that she received while at the nursing facility this last time.
  2. Calling a perscription in for her diabetic testing supplies.
  3. Scheduling an appointment to see him for a routine checkup.
