Today’s Business: 2009-11-15
Sunday, November 15th, 200908:00 AM: I’m up, and doing my morning chores, which include:
- Dispensing Mom’s meds
- Cat duty
- Putting any dirty dishes around in the dish washer
- Laundry
08:45 AM: Uploaded more of my sent emails to the blogs. Just finished with December, 2007. This was an easy month because I had actually sent very few emails that were also quite short as well.
12:45 PM: Worked the wheelchair ramp project all morning.
01:15 PM: Brother-in-law Richard stopped by to lend a hand with the ramp. He gave a few more suggestions for how to make it even better. I’ll work on those this afternoon.
05:25 PM: Finished working outside. ‘Twas a wonderful day for mid November; mostly sunny with high temperatures in the upper 60s to low 70s. We’re supposed to get more of the same tomorrow. So I’ll be working on the ramp once more. It’s almost finished.
06:47 PM: Today’s repeater song: All I Want for Christmas (Is You) by Vince Vance.
09:05 PM: Talked with [Emmy]. She was pretty down this evening which, unfortunately, is par for the course for her these days. Hopefully she’ll find something to be truly happy about very soon. I hope.
09:45 PM: Worked on Garrett’s computer problem.
11:20 PM: Had a nice hour-long chat with Mom. She found an old diary of hers from 1956. She delighted in reading some of it to me. I suggested that I record her voice while she reads it. But she wasn’t interested in that. Still, this diary would make a fine addition to our collection of historical treasures of our family.
11:30 PM: Added more relevent posts to the WPSBC category here in the Tom’s Diary blog.
11:54 PM: Well, I’m off to bed. Sister Mary Ann will visit us tomorrow morning to help us get ready for the Thanksgiving dinner we’re hosting here. So I want to be fresh, and to be fresh, I’ll need lots of sleep tonight to recover from my work on the wheelchair ramp project the past two days. I’m beat. So take care, and I’ll see you right back here tomorrow.
