09:00 AM: I’m up. Slept in later than usual today. I guess all the cleaning and organizing yesterday really pooped me. But I feel refreshed now, and ready to go at another day. [Emmy] is coming later and we’ll get the turkey out of the freezer for Thursday. Oh, and tomorrow night we’ll turn on all our Christmas lights for the first time this holiday season. This coincides with the tree-lighting ceremony, also tomorrow night, up in Bellwood. I figure that I’d like all that traffic headed there to see our lights as well. So, I’ll connect them all up and give the folks a real show.
10:15 AM: Took the turkey out of the freezer to thaw, per the Thanksgiving dinner, 2009 project.
11:45 AM: Performed Misc. editing and categorizing, in the blogs.
12:15 PM: Christine and Richard stopped by to drop off some chipped ham for Mom. So I chatted with them for the better part of an hour.
01:00 PM: I just heard from [Emmy]. She’s on the train now although she could not secure a window-seat due to the big crowd of people riding today; no doubt heading somewhere for the Thanksgiving holiday.
01:20 PM: Garrett just called. He’s taking me up later to pick up [Emmy] and to run us to the grocery store too.
02:00 PM: Wrote more in a couple upcoming posts for this blog. But I think I’ll take a little nap until Garrett arrives. I think that big bowl of Cocoa Wheats with all the sugar is making me sleepy. I should give up that sugar, I know. But it tastes so good on that cereal. I am clearly a sugar-holic.
03:10 PM: I’m up once again. The train left Johnstown, on time, and so it will hopefully arrive at Altoona, on time. Garrett just got here. So we’ll be heading out to pick up [Emmy] shortly.
06:35 PM: We’re home again, and [Emmy] is here now. On the way here, we went on a shopping trip, to stock up for [Emmy's] stay, as well as for Thanksgiving.
08:40 PM: Worked the Emmy’s speakers hum repair project.
10:10 PM: Categorized many posts for the past hour or so, in this, the Tom’s Diary blog.
10:15 PM: I’ve dispensed Mom’s night time meds, and now I’m going to bed myself. A new and busy week is now upon us, and I want to be rested for the first day of it, tomorrow. So take care and enjoy your Thanksgiving preparations and travel. See you tomorrow.
