08:30 AM: Dispensed all morning meds. Still, we have no working glucometer. The new one should arrive today, she tells me.
01:45 PM: She covered a chipped ham sandwich for lunch with 12 units of log insulin. She’s quite lethargic lately, and I suspect that this is because she’s not getting enough insulin. Hopefully, once the new meter arrives, we can get back on track with the dosing.
03:15 PM: Dispensed Mom’s lunch-time meds.
03:45 PM: No glucometer came today. Mom’s calling Accu-Chek to find out where it is, right now. I suggested that she see if she can get two of them, so we have one as a spare, just in case a future mishap like this one occurs.
05:25 PM: Evening time meds dispensed.
06:00 PM: Mom’s going to trivia tonight; she’s going to buy dinner for the friends who’ve been kind enough to come and take her there the past few weeks.
09:00 PM: She’s back home again, and had a great time.
10:30 PM: Dispensed bedtime meds.
