- Post the details of the shopping trip this past Wednesday night

10:30 AM: I’m up.
11:00 AM: Working the DJ Gig: 2009-12-31 project.
11:05 AM: Approximately three inches of snow fell overnight. So, I’ll get out there in the next hour or so and shovel it. At least, it’s not windy. Twenty four degrees right now, and I have the roof heaters activated; turned them on before going to bed early this morning.
01:45 PM: Shoveled the walks again.
02:55 PM: Watched the 2009-12-03 episode of Dr. Phil.
03:00 PM: Still snowing. Taking an afternoon nap.
05:30 PM: Just shoveled the walks for a third time for today, and the snow is still falling.
05:45 PM: Sister Jojo just called to wish me a happy birthday, and Mom presented me with a box of dark chocolate nonparells. I think I put Jojo off a little when I griped about those nonparells being a treat that I certainly do not need. But, I guess keeping the calorie consumption to reasonable levels over the holidays, is perhaps an unreasonable expectation. So, I’ll try and be less anal about what I eat (or do not eat) at least until the holiday season ends.
06:20 PM: [Emmy] and I listened to some Herman’s Hermits. I’m putting their 4-CD box set into the music library, per the DJ Gig: 2009-12-31 effort, and [Emmy] walked in while that was in progress. Probably my favorite songs by Herman’s Hermits are:
- Dial My Number
- This Door Swings Both Ways
- I’m Henry VIII I Am
Actually, the Henry the eighth hit was a great repeater song for me back in the early 1990s, when I purchased my first greatest hits CD from Herman’s Hermits.
07:20 PM: Sister Christine called to wish me a happy birthday, and I got to bend her ear a little over Mom not taking her last two doses meds and insulin today. Hey, it’s my birthday, so I’m allow to gripe if I wish. 
08:30 PM: [Olga] called to wish me a happy birthday, though I was out shoveling when her call came in. Her birthday is tomorrow. So I’ll attempt to catch up with her then. [Jack] also left voice mail, wishing the same to me, and says that he’ll get back to me sometime before this weekend is over.
09:45 PM: Sister Jojo, her son Tyler, and daughter Catie stopped in and visited for nearly an hour, in spite of all the snow and bad roads.
