Shopping Trip: 2010-01-08
As per usual on Friday mornings when Jojo has the day off, we went on our weekly shopping trip. At Wal Mart, I purchased the following items.
- Diet caffeine-free Pepsi (16 liters)
- Pepperidge Farm pumpernickel bread (3 loaves)
- Kraft American cheese singles (3 pound package)
- Jif peanut butter (1 small jar)
- Salada green tea (40 bag box) (1)
- Bigelo green tea (2 boxes)
- Telephone receiver-to-phone cords, 25 Ft coiled (2)
- Sun Maid raisins (2 canisters)
- Sargento Muenster cheese (4 bags)
- Del Monte canned apricots (4 cans)
- Del Monte canned peaches (4 cans)
- Blueberries, 12 Oz. (4 packs)
- Mott’s individual portions of applesauce (4 packs)
- Reddi-Whip whipped cream (3 cans)
Total cost: $112.87
Then, we stopped at some place that had a sale on Christmas ornaments. I didn’t catch its name. But Jojo went in to look around, though she found nothing she wanted.
Next, we visited the CVS pharmacy, so Mom could purchase some curlers. I bought nothing there either.
Then, we went to Hoss’s steakhouse for lunch, when I got a lunch special of popcorn coconut shrimp and a six-ounce steak, medium rare, a salad, a baked potato, spicy bread with cheese sauce, and soft-serve ice cream with fudge topping.
Yum. But OH NO!
Total cost for me: $20
Next, we stopped at the state store, so Jojo could get a bottle of wine.
Finally, we visited the Hallmark store where Jojo, again, wanted to look for bargains on Christmas ornaments; you get the best prices on these around this time of year.
