Weekly Backups: 2010-01-23
Weekly backups of all my blog sites completed. Total disk space backed up: 50.4 MB, which includes all databases, site code, and static pages. That’s an increase of 8 MB, from 42.4 MB last week.
The reasons for the rather large increase in backup size this time are:
- The new WPSBC Alumni Association Web Site resides in my collection of blogs, and so, from now on, their data will be included in my backups.
- All blogs were upgraded this week to the latest version of the WordPress software, and a version upgrade typically means a larger software footprint.
- Plus, I’ve added my usual amount of content to the blogs as well.
