Log
09:30 AM: I’m up.
11:15 AM: Worked the Christmas Lighting, 2009 project. Took all extension cords to the cellar for inspection, repair, and storage.
11:30 AM: Moved all equipment away from where the Internet and phone lines come into the office here; we’re switching phone service providers tomorrow morning, and the technician will require access to this place to install the necessary equipment for the new service. If this works out okay, we should save $60 a month in telephone charges. I hope the new service has similar sound quality and ease-of-use of the voicemail, that I’ve grown accustomed to with Verizon. We’ll see.
02:00 PM: Completed all checkbook balancing for this month.
02:40 PM: Called Promo Only to arrange for return of the second copy of the Mainstream Radio issue for February that I received yesterday. Somehow, they had me signed up for two subscriptions for this series in 2010. So, they cancelled one and applied the resulting credit toward my EA DFF subscription. Nice.
02:45 PM: Nap time.
04:15 PM: I’m back up again.
05:00 PM: Watched today’s episode of The Young and the Restless from the DVR.
07:00 PM: Hung out with Mom and Debbie in the sitting room, trying to guess what Obama might say tonight in his state-of-the-union address.
09:00 PM: Watched the state of the union address by president Obama.
10:50 PM: The speeches from the president as well as the republican response finished a little while ago, and I’m heading for bed. I must rise at 7:00 tomorrow morning to get ready for the technician to come and install service for our new phone company. I can’t wait to see how the lines sound. Anyway, take care and I’l catch you sometime in the morning.
