06:30 AM: I’m up.  My weight dropped 1.5 pounds from yesterday’s reading; now at 175.0 pounds.

07:10 AM: The   WPSBC Alumni Association’s web site    appears to be operational once again.

07:30 AM: Received email from the Philadelphia Foor Worship club owner that [Linda] is going to appear on radio station WIP 610 at 8:15 AM to talk about the club, and what they do.

08:30 AM: I just heard [Linda] via the Internet radio.  She worked very well with the hosts and made an amusing presentation; they made all sorts of comments about the foot fetish thing.  But it came off in good taste and it had me chuckling. 

09:40 AM: Posted the   Today’s Business: 1980-07-19   piece.

09:50 AM: Posted the   Today’s Business: 1980-07-20   piece.

10:44 AM: Posted the   Today’s Business: 1980-07-21   piece.

12:35 PM: Played around, searching for the dates of death of several key people in my life for the blogs.  Purchased a membership to one public records provider, only to discover that they have no records of the people I’m most interested in.  Well, that was money well spent.  :-(

01:22 PM: Posted the   David Middleton Died   piece.

05:15 PM: Watched today’s episode of   The Young and the Restless   from the DVR.

07:00 PM: Watched the 2009-12-13 and 2009-12-20 episodes of CBS’s   Face The Nation   news show on the DVR.

09:15 PM: Worked the   WPSBC Alumni Web Site Revamp   project.

11:20 PM: Since I’ve decided not to podcast, I’ve begun removing some of the original podcast directories from my hosting account file system, and to rename the existing stuff to reflect that I’m blogging now, and not podcasting.  I’m endeavoring to keep these changes invisible to my readers as they access the sites.  Let me know if you discover any broken links or sites, please.  :-)

    WPSBC Alumni Website Revamp

    I’ve begun the process of converting the web site of the   WPSBC Alumni Association   into a WordPress blog, as decided in the board meeting last spring.  You will shortly be able to access the new version of the site at the following address:

    1. I’ve copied all the content from the old site   here   to the new one   here.  DONE.
    2. The next step is to transfer the wpsbc-alumni.org domain from the current provider to mine.  I’ve submitted the necessary forms and payments to accomplish this; this will save us $10 per year in domain retention costs.  DONE.
    3. Once the transfer has been accomplished, then I’ll take the old site down for good by pointing the wpsbc-alumni.org domain at the new site.  DONE.
    4. Then I’ll reconfigure the new site to reside at the same URL (http://wpsbc-alumni.org) as the old one does now. DONE.
    5. I’ll verify and submit the new site to google.  DONE.
    6. Finally, I’ll cancel the hosting account with the old hosting provider.  IN PROGRESS.

    I’ll update this post as the work progresses.

    Pending Appointments And Issues

    1. Pick up order for all pending prescriptions this week.
    2. 2010-02-19 @ 11:00 AM:  Friday: Appointment with her eye doctor to check the progress of the clearing up of the blood in her right eye.
    3. 2010-04-14 @ 11:10 AM: Wednesday: Appointment with orthopedist for the next quarterly checkup on the progress of healing of her charcot foot. 
    4. 2010-04-23 @ 02:00 PM: Friday: Appointment with PCP for quarterly checkup.

    10:00 AM: Blood sugar: 262.  Covered with 20 units of log insulin.

    10:05 AM: Dispensed Mom’s morning meds.

    01:00 PM: Covered her lunch with 15 units of log insulin.

    02:15 PM: Blood sugar: 288.  Covered with 15 units of log insulin; I wished not to give her too much, since she took her last shot a mere hour ago.

    02:16 PM: Dispensed Mom’s after-lunch meds.

    05:35 PM: Dispensed Mom’s evening meds.

    05:36 PM: Blood sugar: 107.  Good!

    07:00 PM: Covered her dinner at trivia with 18 units of log insulin.

    • Peppermint, spearmint, and “Perfect Peach”  tea throughout the day, along with diet caffeine-free Pepsi.  0 calories.
    • 02:05 PM: 1 salmon fillet.  160 calories.
    • 02:10 PM: 6 sugar-free cookies.  200 calories.
    • 02:25 PM: Multivitamin.  0 calories.
    • 06:00 PM: 1 can black bean soup.  420 calories.
    • 06:00 PM: Parmesan cheese.  200 calories.
    • 09:20 PM: 1 cup apple cider.  200 calories.
    • 11:40 PM: 1/4 cup raisins.  130 calories.

     

    Total calories: 1310.
