Log
10:00 AM: I’m up. My weight stayed the same as yesterday, at 175.0 pounds.
11:20 AM: Created audio journal episode: AJE-2010-02-06-11-00 on the Victor Reader Stream, where I discussed the current blizzard, which is still working by the way. Also, I voiced concern for my lack of motivation to write more here, over the past couple days, searched for pressures that are holding me back, and then I speculated over why I’m not doing more to remove these factors of resistance that impede my work so. I further explored building more pleasing associations with women, and more associations with pleasing women, and how better-than-nothings indeed can in fact, be truly better than nothing. I also gave a status report on my progress in the love quest this year so far.
12:00 PM: Shoveled again, the ramp and plywood out to the back parking area. I’ll finish the rest this afternoon, as soon as I warm up a little.
12:45 PM: Cooked some salmon for lunch, talked with [Emmy] for a bit, and I’ll call her back for the Penguins game here in about 30 minutes.
01:15 PM: Posted the Snowfall: 2010-02-06 piece.
01:55 PM: I’ve finished shoveling all walks, ramps, and pathways. The snow has stopped and there’s hazy sunshine now, that’s melting the remaining shite stuff from the cleared areas. There’s a huge pile of snow on our roof. Hopefully, it will roll off soon. Otherwise, I might have to knock it down.
02:45 PM: Listened to some of the Penguins hockey game with [Emmy]. But since I never got to bed until well into the second half of the night this morning, I need a nap. So, it’s nap time!
04:45 PM: I’m back up again, and working some formatting issues on the new WPSBC Alumni Association Web Site that [Mentat] discovered.
05:15 PM: All formatting issues he found have been addressed.
07:00 PM: I iPodded for an hour. My oldest iPod (the 30 GB iPod + Video) hasn’t been used in some time. So I listened to this one and then allowed it to run completely dead, in order to exercise its battery. Lithium batteries last longer when you periodically discharge them completely, and then fully charge them again. I’ve got several iPods here that I alternate (or at least, I endeavor to do so), so that they all get a little exercise each month.
08:30 PM: Took the weekly system backups.
10:30 PM: Talked with [Emmy].
10:45 PM: Posted the list of Diary Revisions today for this blog.
10:50 PM: Heading to bed. So hope you didn’t hurt yourselves digging out today from under all that snow. I’m just a bit achy but nothing serious. Good night.
