08:30 AM: I’m up. My weight stayed the same as yesterday, at 175.0 Lbs. See here for a summary of the progress on this goal so far in 2010.
11:15 AM: Read more of the Team of Rivals book.
01:10 PM: Finished the Call of the Wild book by Jack London.
02:45 PM: Added entries to the Audio Journal Info Page for all 2010 audio journal episodes recorded to date.
03:30 PM: Sent Mom’s tax information for 2009 to the tax preparer.
04:30 PM: Watched today’s episode of The Young and the Restless on the DVR.

12:45 AM: Spent the entire evening listening to cassette tape #89 from my audio journal, while uploading the following episodes from it to the computer:

I wish to have all my taped episodes digitized at some point, so they can be played on my new NLS DTB player. The advanced speed control and large buttons on this machine should facilitate the transcribing of these episodes into text for the blogs.
02:40 AM: Well, converting these journal files to the .3gp format may not be as easy or as cheap as I hoped. I found a couple programs that claim to convert WAV files to 3GP. But the first one crashed when I tried it, and the other would only convert video files (not audio-only ones like those found in my audio journal). So I’ll probably just play them on the computer, using the computer as a sort of Dictaphone machine while typing them in.
