Log
09:10 AM: I’m up. My weight held steady. It’s still as it was yesterday: 174.5 Lbs. See here for a summary of the progress on this goal so far in 2010.
11:40 AM: Uploaded audio journal episode AJE-2001-12-12-18-00 from cassette to the computer.
01:00 PM: Began another book: Best African American Essays: 2009.
02:00 PM: Spent this third pavilion day of the year at (where else?) the pavilion. The cordless phone reaches down there very well; I had [Emmy] on the phone as we listened to the Penguins play this afternoon. The entire house is exclusively mine at the moment, as Mom went to a basket bingo fundraiser, and will likely be gone until this evening sometime.
03:00 PM: I hung up with [Emmy] and decided to walk over to Sheetz for a steak sub sandwich.
03:15 PM: Nap time. After that wonderful meal, sleepiness came on suddenly. So before the game had finished, I was ready to hang up with [Emmy] again so I could rest a while. As I drifted off, I played the Best African American Essays: 2009 book. I’ll have to start it over again when I’m fully awake.
05:45 PM: I’m awake again. 68.5 degrees outside right now; the warmest day of the year. We just may hit 70 tomorrow.
08:05 PM: Upgraded to FileZilla 3.3.2 (FTP client), used for backing up my blogs.
08:20 PM: Created audio journal episodes AJE-2010-03-20-19-24 and AJE-2010-03-20-20-11.
08:40 PM: Took the weekly system backups.
09:15 PM: Sister Christine called to chat and vent.
10:15 PM: Talked with [Emmy on the phone]. We were both particularly tired this evening.
11:55 PM: Read more of the Adventures of Tom Sawyer book.
11:57 PM: On this first day of spring, I heard the spring peepers for the first time this year, peeping, down along the river. Their first peep typically arrives on or around the vernal equinox. Their timing is uncanny.
12:30 AM: I’m off to bed. Good night.
