08:20 AM: I’m up.  Hello. 

08:20 AM: No weight loss yesterday.  It’s still 173.5 Lbs.    See   here   for a summary of the progress on this goal so far in 2010.

11:08 AM: Added a new category, called   Compromise,   to the    Tom’s Love Quest   blog.

11:28 AM: Added a new category, called   Destiny,   to the   Tom’s Love Quest   blog.

11:50 AM: Added a new category, called   Obsession,   to the   Tom’s Love Quest   blog.

12:00 PM: Added the  http://tomhesley.com/  web site to Google Analytics.  I’m curious how many visits my home page is getting; particularly since I reference this page often from within my blogs. 

04:30 PM: Watched today’s episode of   The Young and the Restless   on the DVR.

05:00 PM: Added a couple of new categories, called   Attraction   and   Physical Attraction   to the   Tom’s Love Quest   blog.

06:10 PM: Watched today’s episode of   Dr. Phil   on the DVR; titled: Why Men Cheat.  Interesting show, because they talked about physical manifestations that very often accompany the cheating behavior in men; such as elevated testosterone levels, a ring finger that is longer than the index finger on the same hand, a “cheating” gene, highly symmetrical faces, and brain activity patterns that predict a high likelihood of infidelity.  Now they cautioned that the presence of one or more of these factors says neither that cheating will definitely occur, nor must occur in fact.  Indeed, they offered several treatments for men predisposed by their physiology to cat around, yet who desire to be monogamous.  Environmental factors play at least as big a part in affecting a man’s desire to cheat.  But I had to clap when they said that a man’s cheating behavior may not be entirely about free choice.

10:25 PM: Added a new category, called   Honesty,   to the   Tom’s Love Quest   blog.

10:55 PM: Just hung up with [Emmy].  Now, I’m headed to read some of the      book, and then to bed.  So enjoy your night, and I’ll catch you right back here tomorrow morning.  Good evening.
