Log

08:15 AM: I’m awake, but not for long probably.  I stayed up until 3:30 this morning listening to my book (The Grapes of Wrath).  So I expect that later this morning, I’ll need to catch a one to two-hour nap to make up for today’s sleep deprivation.  :-)

08:18 AM: Read more of      through the night.

08:20 AM: No weight loss yesterday.  It’s still 173.5 Lbs.    See   here   for a summary of the progress on this goal so far in 2010.

09:00 AM: Pulled up some of my pages that now implement the Google Analytics asychronous tracking code.  The pages do seem to come up a little more quickly on the whole.  That’s great.

12:00 PM: iPodded for the past half hour.  Songs of note this time:  The Stylistics — You Are Everything   and   You Make Me Feel Brand New.  Also, they played that song    Sideshow   by   Blue Magic,  which sounded an awful lot like The Stylistics (that “chucking” guitar sound, falsetto singing, orchestral background, and subtly sad chord patterns that can make lovers cry).  Good stuff.  I need to DJ another gig soon; haven’t done one since New Years.

01:30 PM: Facebooked for a half hour.  I love reading the soap operas of people’s lives, and jabbing a little bit as well (playfully mind you).  :-)

03:40 PM: Watched today’s episode of   The Young and the Restless   from the DVR.  Daisy and Sarah are poised to kill Michael and Phylys.  Oh boy…

04:20 PM: Finished drying all Mom’s laundry for this week.  I wash and dry it, as she can’t get down to the basement these days, and she folds and puts it away.

04:35 PM: Watched today’s episode of   Dr. Phil   on the DVR, titled   Revenge Revisited.  My rating: 7 of 10.

04:45 PM: Going on tonight’s   shopping trip   now.  Back later.

07:50 PM: We’re back from the    shopping trip.   The things bought for [Emmy] are loaded in the car, ready for the trip to Pittsburgh on Saturday to visit her, and to drop off some of her Christmas 2009 presents.

08:30 PM: All groceries put away.

09:45 PM: Talked with   [Emmy]   on the phone, to plan the visit Saturday.

10:00 PM: Okay, I’m very tired; probably because I got fairly little sleep last night.  So, I’ll make up for it tonight.  :-)   Take care, and I’ll come back here tomorrow to post more of the saga.  Good night.
