07:45 AM: I’m up.
08:20 AM: No weight loss yesterday. It’s still 173.5 Lbs. So, I lost no weight in April; but on the good side, I gained none either. I’ll get back on track in May. See here for a summary of the progress on this goal so far in 2010.
10:30 AM: Moved all of [Emmy's] things that we’re taking to her place tomorrow down to beside the south door, where we can easily load them into the car tomorrow morning.
11:00 AM: Well, the cats threw up this morning; five or six multi-colored piles which I did not discover until I stepped in one. Yuck! So then, I go for the hose and Shop Vac to rinse them down, then wash them up, but found that it was clogged. So I cleaned that out; a long, thin strip of clear cellophane caused the low vacuum. Even though the motor ran at full speed, the cellophane was just wide enough to completely cover all the opening on the edge of the fan blade, and seriously retard air flow. Anyway, it’s fixed now and all the messes are history.
10:30 AM: Posted the Arizona’s New Illegal-Aliens Law piece to the Tom’s Views blog.
11:35 AM: Dusted in my bedroom.
11:40 AM: Heading out to spend a couple hours with sister Jojo, to do a little shopping, and probably grab a bite to eat. Back later.
02:40 PM: We’re back home. We bought little today (storage containers and cat litter). But they’ve all been deployed and stowed.
04:20 PM: Watched today’s episode of The Young and the Restless on the DVR. Ryder finally decided to let Lauren and Jenna go. But since Daisy stole them from him yesterday, he could not find them today. Daisy drugged Daniel and then took him to bed, where Amber walked in and saw the two of them. Patty is now a prime suspect in Adam’s murder, and Keven is headed back to the amusement park (where Jenna and Lauren are being held) to see if he can find more clues as to Jenna’s whereabouts.
05:45 PM: Watched today’s episode of Dr. Phil and yesterday’s episode of NBC’s Nightly News. I gotta stay informed, you know.
07:05 PM: Listening to the Penguins hockey game tonight with [Emmy].
08:30 PM: Nap time.
09:00 PM: I’m back up, but still sleepy. I’m looking forward to bed tonight.
09:25 PM: Watched tonight’s episode of NBC’s Nightly News.
09:30 PM: The Pens are wining, 5 to 2.
09:45 PM: The Pens won the game, 6 to 3.
09:47 PM: Read more of the Grapes of Wrath in bits and pieces throughout the day today.
09:50 PM: Okay, I’m headed to bed. Early day tomorrow; we’re heading out to Pittsburgh at 8:00 AM. So take care and I’ll document the day here, sometime tomorrow. See ya.
