Log

07:30 AM: I’m up.

07:35 AM: Read more of the      book overnight; fell asleep somewhere in chapter five.

08: 00 AM: Read one blog post and accompanying comments on the Arizona anti-illegal-aliens law.  The author supported the law, whereas I’m reserved about it.  So next, I’ll read the law itself and see if I then feel any better about it.  The big concern that I hope to allay is that this law might give police excessively broad powers to treat both legals and illegals alike with undue harshness and per brutality.  So we’ll see what the law says before I form a strong opinion.

09:00 AM: Called [Emmy].  She’s up but didn’t sleep well last night.  She’ll have to nap once her Pittsburgh Today Live show is finished.

10:15 AM: Typed in my notes for chapter four of the      book.  See the comments on   that post   for them.

01:15 PM: Ripped the two CDs (Rascal Flatts’ Greatest Hits Vol. 1 and  Keith Urban’s Golden Road) that sister Mary Ann provided, in order to put them on her new iPod.  I’ll delve into that unit later.  She hasn’t even opened it yet; she deferred that pleasure to yours truly.  :-)

02:20 PM: Watched today’s episode of   The Young and the Restless   on the DVR.

03:30 PM Populated sister Mary Ann’s iPod with the CDs she provided.  Sounds great.  I like the new voice memo, video camera, and FM radio features that come with the latest (5th) generation Nanos.  For the first time, I could get a real good look at this ever-growing balled spot on the top of my head.  You can record video movies with this iPod.  The picture and sound quality are both pretty good considering that both the camera and mic openings are barely bigger than a pin hole.  By the way, I’m not getting old; it must be radiation nearby or something.  :-)

05:00 PM: Watched today’s episode of   Dr. Phil, where they debated whether dog fighting is cruel and unusual treatment of the animals.  I fully agree with McGraw.  It is, since the dogs really have no choice but to participate when their owners wish it of them.

08:40 PM:  Worked the     project.

09:10 PM: Watched tonight’s episode of   NBC’s Nightly News   on the DVR.

10:50 PM: Just got off the phone with [Emmy].  All is well.

11:40 PM:  Worked more on the     project.

11:40 PM: Took the garbage out (that time of the week again), and now I’m going to bed, and hope for a drier, sunny day tomorrow.  Good night.

  1. Emmy Says:

I thought the comment you said about looking at your ever growing bald spot on the back of your head was from radiation. I highly doubt radiation had anything to do with it.

  2. Emmy Says:

I laughed when reading about the bald spot on your head. YOu can be commical when you want to be.
