Facebook Tid Bits: 2010-05-23

11:20 AM: Hopefully if you decide to shampoo, you’ll have no guests visiting today, because rain, guests, and newly cleaned carpets don’t mix. :-)
11:30 AM: I’ve spent thousands of hours on trains. So needless to say, I’m a train junkie. One learns patience riding trains, and if lucky, one meets interesting folks while hovering just above those metal wheels, tracks, and ties.
11:42 AM: And now for my Sunday church services: Meet the Press, Face the Nation, 60 Minutes, Fareed Zakaria GPS, … I worship the news. :-)
04:58 PM: Yes, who you WERE will always be a big part of who you ARE. True.  The more good we can add to who you are, then the better the entire you will be; bad choices and all.  But I agree. You’ll never completely cancel whatever badness is in your past.  As long as that badness is part of your history, it will always be a part of you.  So we can never fully escape our pasts; nor should we.  Improving from our pasts would be the more laudable goal; not escaping them.
06:37 PM: It’s also why some people appear DULL until you hear them speak. :-)
