09:15 AM: I’m up.
11:00 AM: [Emmy] called to say that she’s feeling better today.
11:05 AM: I thought I might cut the grass this afternoon. But the weather appears unsettled and changing — one minute it’s sunny, and the next, it’s dark and cloudy.
01:00 PM: iPoddeed and listened to Internet radio.
02:00 PM: Watched the 2010-06-03 episode of Dr. Phil on the DVR. He gave his viewers a behind-the-scenes look at some of what goes in to creating a Dr. Phil show. He discussed how the guests are chosen, how get ready to tape a show, what happens in the producer’s booth while the show is going on, and the sorts of follow-up with guest that occur after the show. A very good episode this was. I liked it.
02:55 PM: Posted the iPod Touch Volume Control Gripe piece to the Tom’s Views blog.
06:00 PM Skimmed the 2010-05-30 episode of CBS’s 60 Minutes on the DVR, Looked like a rerun.
08:00 PM: Facebooked, and worked on an upcoming piece, about my Pioneer SX-1000TW stereo receiver, that I’m about to throw out. This unit has lightened my life for the past thirty five years, and so I thought that its departure deserves some sort of memorial, as it’s probably the one electronic device I’ve had in my possession, that still works, for longer than any other. Additionally, lots of memories are tied to this amplifier / tuner combo, and I want to write them down before the unit is gone forever.
11:10 PM: Spent three hours on the phone with [Emmy]. We were both feeling lonely today and really need each other’s company. Nice.
02:00 AM: Watched a couple shows about black holes and “killer comets” on the Science Channel. But I’m going to bed now. Have a great night, and I’ll write more tomorrow.

- Misc. bank papers.
- Offer for a Jitterbug phone. Not at this time, thanks. But I like this phone’s simple layout. It really is JUST a cell phone, without all that extra gobbledeegook.
