Mom’s Status: 2010-08-05
09:00 AM: Today’s off to a great start. Mom has been officially released from ICU and they’ll move her to a private room as soon as one’s available. Improvements: She’s more awake, talking clearer, in better spirits, more comfort, has less fever, and looks better. Though H+H still dropping they’ll work this in private room; she need not be in ICU to resolve this. Blood administered until cause of this drop is found. They’ll GI scope when she’s stronger. We’re encouraged.
Again, should any one wish to send her get-well cards, just send them here to the house and we’ll take them to her when she’s able to enjoy them.
03:30 PM: Mom’s in some pain this afternoon from her neuropathy. Sister Diane is with her now. They’re delaying pick line insertion until tomorrow since this will require anesthesia.
