Mom’s Status: 2010-08-10
08:15 AM: Mom was transferred to Pittsburgh overnight. I’ll check with that hospital after lunch, once they’ve examined her, to see how she’s doing, and will post more information then.
01:55 PM: Mom’s now in a hospital in Pittsburgh and they’re taking pictures of her heart via her throat. But they must fix her teeth before proceeding. Plus, she’s bleeding inside her legs, which they want to stop before conducting the echo test. This treatment is underway now.
10:30 PM: Mom is having five loose teeth extracted tomorrow morning. Plus, I’ve spoken with the pain management specialists and they now have on file all the meds Mom was taking for pain prior to entering the hospital nearly twelve days ago. They’re giving her IV pain meds at present and she seems to be more comfortable tonight. I’ll visit her tomorrow, mid day and see how she’s doing.
