07:30 AM: I’m up.
08:35 AM: My driver arrived, and we left to pick up [Emmy] at the train station.
08:55 AM: [Emmy] called to say that the train would be a little late; as it was crawling for quite a time after leaving Johnstown.
09:15 AM: We killed some time at an allergist’s office; my driver got a shot in preps for the upcoming hay fever season. So, while she waited there to make sure she would not have an allergic reaction to the shot, we watched a bit of NBC’s Today Show on the office television. They were talking about actor Michael Douglas and the stage four throat cancer with which he’s recently been diagnosed.
09:30 AM: We’re at the train station now. Boy, it’s going to be hot today. Though the temperature hasn’t yet reached even eighty degrees today, we can already feel the intense heat in the sum beams.
10:05 AM: [Emmy's] train just arrived. We got her and are now heading home.
10:20 AM: We’re home.
10:45 AM: We ate some of the raspberry-flavored cream cheese Jello I made last night for breakfast. It tastes terrific.
11:00 AM: Nap time. Back later.
01:25 PM: I’m up again. [Emmy] is still sleeping however. It’s during times like these that I can get some serious blogging done. But don’t tell her that I said that. I love her presence, but must get more disciplined when she’s here so that it doesn’t appear like I’m always on vacation (and writing nothing) every time she visits. 
03:00 PM: Blogged and Facebooked.
03:15 PM: Now leaving for sister Christine’s pool; enjoying probably the last very warm day there. Back later.
08:35 PM: We’re back home again. We’ll probably get to bed very soon, as we must rise at 6:00 in the morning tomorrow for [Emmy's] orthopedist appointment. So I’ll say good night now and wish you pleasant dreams. I’ll be back here with more tomorrow.
10:10 PM: Mom called and woke me up, to say that she lost her cell phone. Grrrrrrrr! So if you’re trying to reach Mom, that’s why you can’t. I just ordered a new battery for her phone too. Back to bed. I’ll try to sleep anyhow.
