Today’s Activities

  • Shower.  DONE.
  • Cat duty.  DONE.
  • Wash 4 loads of laundry.  DONE.

Log

08:15 AM: I’ve risen.

08:45 AM: Blogged and Facebooked.  Light activity overnight.  Many of my Bellwood friends must be bushed from the Bellwood Vs. Tyrone football game last night.  Tyrone won.

09:15 AM: Posted the   Mom’s Status: 2010-09-03   piece.

12:30 PM: Completed the    weekly web site backups   of my blogs.

12:50 PM: Posted the   Bandwidth Usage: 2010-08   piece.

01:00 PM: Posted the   site statistics    for this week.

03:00 PM: Napped and hung out with [Emmy], chatting and not really doing much of anything.

04:55 PM: Worked the   Lawn Maintenance: 2010    project.  Cut the grass in this wonderful weather this afternoon.

05:15 PM: Nap time.  I love napping on a cool, overcast afternoon.  Now I can surely sleep on a sunny day if I’m sleepy enough. But naps on cloudy and gray days just feel more cozy.

07:00 PM: I’m up again, and fixing some pancakes with sugar-free maple-flavored syrup for supper.  Hmmm, I’ll have to pick up more of that Hungry jack wheat blend pancake mix.  It’s really quite tasty, and it’s mostly whole-grain to boot.

10:50 PM: Watched the 2010-09-01 and 2010-09-02 episodes of KDKA TV’s   Pittsburgh Today Live   variety show.  I’m starting to like this show because they feature all sorts of healthy food preparation ideas, home maintenance tips, and the numerous goings on in and around Pittsburgh.  But unfortunately, I don’t have the time to follow yet another hour-long daily TV show.  But since I don’t watch all Dr. Phil episodes these days, perhaps I can back-fill there with Pittsburgh Today Live from time to time.

11:15 PM: Finished washing all four pending loads of laundry.

Bandwidth Usage: 2010-08

Saturday, September 4th, 2010

We dropped slightly below the 6 GB monthly bandwidth goal in August (5724.26 MB); though it appears that missing usage data for 2010-09-03, which they count as zero, is the likely cause of this.  Assuming the usage for this day was the average of 200 MB / day, then we would have come very close to the goal.

We’re still shooting for the monthly bandwidth usage goal of 7500 MB, which I’m striving to reach within the next couple quarters.  I’ll continue writing pieces and stepping up the amount I write, adding appropriate keywords to the documents, and other strategies, to push toward the next record high.  So stay tuned.   It’s going to be fun.
