- Shower. DONE.
- Cat duty. DONE.
- Vacuum upstairs. IN PROGRESS.
- Make sure all of Mom’s borrowed books have been returned to the library. IN PROGRESS. All have been returned except one, and Mom says that this one is lost. I’ll follow up with the library to see how they wish to handle this.
- Shred pile of papers in upstairs office. DONE.
- Watch all pending Dr. Phil episodes.

09:00 AM: I’m up.
10:00 AM: Breakfast time.
11:30 AM: I just finished cleaning up a cat mess in the front room downstairs. Yep. When these cats are done, I’m done with cats. Period. Good thing I never had children, ‘eh?
11:45 AM: Recorded audio journal episodes AJE-2010-10-04-11-00 and AJE-2010-10-04-11-19.
01:00 PM: Shredded all the junk mail and other papers in the upstairs office. Man do we get a log of junk mail!
03:20 PM: I had grits this morning at 10:00 with a teaspoon or so of extra virgin olive oil and a bit of garlic salt. In all seriousness, you have got to try it. Delicious! At a mere 500 calories, it kept the hunger pangs away for over five hours; I’m only just now starting to long for supper. Very filling to boot. 
04:30 PM: Watched today’s episode of The Young and the Restless on the DVR.
08:05 PM: Watched the 2010-10-02, 2010-10-03, and 2010-10-04 (tonight’s) episodes of NBC’s Nightly News on the DVR.
08:25 PM: Posted the Today’s Business: 1993-07-15 piece.
08:35 PM: Posted the Today’s Business: 1993-07-16 piece.
11:00 PM: Watched tonight’s episode of Hawaii Five-0 with [Emmy] on the phone.
11:30 PM: Facebooked a while but sleepiness got the better of me after just a couple tens of minutes. So I’m signing off for tonight. Back tomorrow. Take care.
