Today’s Activities
- Shower. DONE.
- Cat duty. DONE.
- Make sure all of Mom’s borrowed books have been returned to the library. IN PROGRESS. All have been returned except one, and Mom says that this one is lost. I’ll follow up with the library to see how they wish to handle this.

07:00 AM: I’m up.
08:00 AM: Threw a pork roast with carrots and onions into the crock pot for supper, seasoned with portobello mushrooms and cracked black pepper.
09:00 AM: Called [Emmy] to say good morning and to see if a good night’s sleep helped her feel better — she was sad last night. She sounded happier.
10:20 AM: Worked the Water Heater Replacement: 2010 project. I made them an offer, which hopefully they will not refuse.
11:30 AM: Paid bills and sent two memorial checks to WPSBC, per the WPSBC Alumni Association.
12:15 PM: Balanced my personal checking account.
12:30 PM: Scrubbed the cellar floor throughout the morning. Yep. When these cats are done, I’m done with cats.
02:20 PM: Watched today’s episode of The Young and the Restless on the DVR.
03:30 PM: Nephew Garrett stopped by. He did not like the selection of music I used to fill the trailing minutes of the CDs I burned for him last weekend. I suggested then, that he make a list of precisely which music he wanted to appear on the discs. When that’s done, I’ll update the playlists and we’ll burn new CDs.
07:30 PM: Watched today’s episodes of Dr. Phil and NBC’s Nightly News on the DVR.
09:30 PM: Listened to the Penguins hockey game with the Ottawa Senators on the Internet radio, over the phone, with [Emmy]. The Penguins won, 5 to 2.
10:15 PM: Talked with sister Mary Ann to update her on Mom’s situation; nothing’s changed really.
11:00 PM: Watched tonight’s episode of Hawaii Five-O with [Emmy], again, on the phone.
11:20 PM: Bed once more. Good night, and I’ll have more to write tomorrow. Take care.
