Log

08:00 AM: I’m up.

12:00 PM: Vacuumed the downstairs and cleaned the bathroom in preparation for Mom’s in-home evaluation tomorrow.

05:00 PM: Leaving for trick or treat night in Bellwood.  Back later.

05:25 PM: Walked to sister Jojo’s place.  She served sloppy joes, chips, dip, and a tray of grapes and cheese.  Very nice.

07:00 PM: I sat on Jojo’s porch and witnessed nephew Garrett passing out candy; he was all dressed in black and claimed to be some sort of dark warrior priest.  Pretty scary.  Many of the children were a bit afraid to accept candy from him.  So Jojo had to reassure them that he wouldn’t bite.

07:30 PM: Then, we drove over to south side and walked around the fire  hall.  Not as much action there but that’s probably because by this time, most folks had run out of candy.  Most houses were dark — no porch lights aglow.

07:50 PM: I’m back home.

10:30 PM: Talked with [Emmy].  She wasn’t feeling well but cheered up as we chatted.

12:00 AM: Watched tonight’s episode of CNN’s   AC 360   news show.  This time, Cooper talked with that vice president of an Arkansas school board who made a highly inflammatory and disparaging post on Facebook about gays.  He has agreed to resign for his remarks; though I believe his “remorse” to be disingenuous.  Though he apologized and attempted to recant his statements, I’m not convinced of his sincerity.  Why?  Because his “apology” if you want to call it that, seemed far less from-the-heart than his original Facebook rant.  Yep, he’ll have to bear hardship because of his mouth for years to come, as he should.

12:10 AM: Throughout the evening, I watched today’s episodes of   NBC’s Nightly News   and   The Young and the Restless   on the DVR.

12:30 AM: Looked at today’s web site stats for my blogs.  Usage is down from what it was in August by as much as fifty percent.  So I really do need to write more posts to try and beef it up again.

12:35 AM: Bed time.  I’ll talk at you more tomorrow.  :-)   Good night.
