05:45 AM: I’m up.
07:15 AM: Just returned from voting, straight democrat.
11:00 AM: Leaving now for the nursing facility. I have two meetings there. The first is with the social services worker there to plan for Mom’s discharge. Then, this afternoon, we’re meeting with Mom’s lawyer to update her will. Back later.
03:30 PM: I’m back home. Both meetings went very well. It looks like Mom will rent an assisted-living apartment at the facility through this weekend, and come home here on Sunday.
07:30 PM: Watched today’s episodes of The Young and the Restless, Dr. Phil, and NBC’s Nightly News on the DVR.
11:00 PM: Watched the election returns. Not a good night from my perspective. Looks like the republicans will win the house and come close to winning the senate. But, there will be 2012, and besides, it could have been much worse for the democrats. But I can’t worry any more about that at the moment. So I’m off to bed. More tomorrow.
