07:30 AM: Facebooked a bit and tried to get a few discussions going about health care.
09:45 AM: Posted the Mom’s Status: 2010-11-05 piece.
12:00 PM: Paid seven pending bills including sewage, gas, storage space rent, Mom’s ambulance and Med-Van trips during August, September, and October of this year, cable TV, phone, Internet, as well as Misc. bills.
02:00 PM: Watched today’s episode of The Young and the Restless on the DVR.
02:05 PM: Heading up to see Mom with sister Mary Ann and her entire family. Back later.
02:15 PM: We stopped at the Meadows for ice cream cones. Yum!
02:25 PM: We reached the nursing facility.
04:45 PM: I’m back home.
07:10 PM: Facebooked for the past couple of hours.
09:00 PM: Watched today’s episodes of Dr. Phil and NBC’s Nightly News news show on the DVR.
12:30 AM: Listened to the Penguins hockey game with [Emmy] over the phone, on our Internet radios. They lost to the Anaheim Ducks, tonight, 3 to 2.
12:35 AM: Getting between the sheets now. So good night, and do visit here again tomorrow for more. Later.
Received Mail and Shipments
- Electricity bill. Hmmm. I thought this would be cheaper with Mom not here and all. But this month, it’s $135. I guess the heater in my bedroom used more than I figured. Then too, there’s the imminent termination of the electricity rate caps at the end of this year. So I’m a little nervous over how that will affect these bills.
