09:45 AM: I’m up.
10:45 AM: Packed for my next trip to Pittsburgh.
11:30 AM: Made train reservations to Pittsburgh. I’m visiting [Emmy] for a day and a half. Her screen reader stopped working yesterday, and she’s experiencing serious Facebook withdraw; not being able to hear what’s going on out there. So I’m hoping to get things up and running again for her.
01:00 PM: Completed the weekly system backups. Details here.
03:00 PM: Posted the Shopping Trip: 2010-10-16 piece.
03:15 PM: Posted the Shopping Trip: 2010-10-20 piece.
04:05 PM: Leaving for train station. Nephew Garrett is driving me. I’ll return home this coming Monday afternoon.
04:25 PM: I’m at the Altoona train station now and nephew Garrett has left to work other business he has here in Altoona.
05:15 PM: I’m on the train now. It left Altoona on time.
08:05 PM: I’m now here at [Emmy's]. The train arrived at Pittsburgh a half-hour early and I lucked out and got a cab right away.
09:00 PM: Got [Emmy's] computer going again. Apparently, during the installation of JAWS 12 that she attempted, the system encountered some errors that were not spoken out loud by the software. Then, when [Emmy] rebooted, her computer would no longer speak. But fortunately, performing the installation again solved the problem. When I did it, I saw no errors.
10:30 PM: [Emmy] brushed my hair for a while. I so love that. But I’m sort of tired from the trip as well as relaxed from the hair brushing. So I’m off to bed. More tomorrow. Good night.
