08:05 AM: Leaving to visit Mom at the nursing facility. Back later.
01:30 PM: I’m back home again.
02:30 PM: Called all the vendors that will provide services to Mom when she comes home tomorrow. Everything has been successfully scheduled.
03:25 PM: Facebooked for a couple hours arguing the merits of limiting refined sugar intake by children as a means to reduce childhood obesity rates.
05:45 PM: Watched today’s and yesterday’s episodes of NBC’s Nightly News news show on the DVR.
07:25 PM: Watched today’s episodes of The Young and the Restless and Dr. Phil on the DVR.
08:00 PM: Talked with sister Christine to fill her in on what’s going to happen with Mom coming home tomorrow. Did the same with sister Jojo too.
08:10 PM: Listening to periods two and three of the Penguins hockey game tonight against the Boston Bruins with [Emmy] on the phone.
10:15 PM: The Penguins lost the game, 7 to 4.
10:20 PM: Hmmmm. I’ve just developed some violent chills. Aside from that, I feel fine; I just can’t stop shaking like a leaf. So I cranked the heat in the bedroom.
12:25 AM: The chills are gone for the most part but are easily triggered by even the slightest draft of cooler air. I hope this isn’t the beginning of my third cold in 2010. 
12:30 AM: Heading for bed now. Have a great night, and you’ll see more of me tomorrow if you come back.
