10:30 AM: I’m up.
01:00 PM: Mom’s physical therapist just arrived to evaluate her and come up with a strategy for her rehabilitation. The therapists wants to get Mom to stand up, without help.
02:00 PM: Sister Mary Ann arrived to help Mom bathe, clean up, and run Misc. errands.
04:45 PM: Headed out shopping with sister Mary Ann. Back later.
08:00 PM: We’re back home.
08:35 PM: We finished our pizza supper and now, I’m setting up this Visio 26” LED television that we picked up for Mom from Sam’s Club.
08:55 PM: The LED TV has been set up and all of us are in awe over its high definition picture and vivid colors. Unfortunately, our cable company only offers around 14 HD stations at thsi time. But they add more and more all the time. We may have to get an HD cable box to receive all their offerings. I’ll look into that beast later. Mom doesn’t want the added expense for something like this right now. But at least, we get the big five networks (NBC, CBS, ABC, Fox, and PBS) in HD.
11:00 PM: Talked to [Emmy], and listened to the tail-end of the Penguins hockey game with her. The Pens won.
11:20 PM: Worked the DJ Gig: 2010-12-31 project throughout the afternoon and evening. Added four more CDs to the music library.
11:55 PM: Watched today’s episodes of The Young and the Restless, Dr. Phil, and NBC’s Nightly News on the DVR.
12:30 AM: Helped Mom perform her preparations for bed. I’m not giving her any long-acting insulin tonight in the hopes that we can avoid another low blood-sugar attack during the night.
01:15 AM: I played some more with Mom’s new TV. I like this thing. It has Internet capabilities and built in WiFi; though I’m not sure what all you can do with this besides download movies. I believe you might be able to get onto Twitter and Facebook through it, as these logos appear all the time on its main menu. But I’ll learn more about that in the coming days.
01:20 AM: Heading for bed now. So good night, and I’ll write more tomorrow. Take care.
