08:45 AM: I’m up.  Helped Mom to the bathroom and gave her her morning meds.  To late to doze anymore this morning.  Perhaps I’ll catch a nap this afternoon.

04:30 PM: Worked the   Christmas Lighting: 2010   project throughout this afternoon.  Now, it’s nap time.  Back later.

06:00 PM: I’m awake again.

07:00 PM: Debbie stopped by, and brought Mom some Pizza Hut bread stickx covered in chocolate.

12:45 AM: Helped Mom get ready for bed.  She burned herself earlier while cooking some eggs.  So I had to round up some bandages.  Fortunately some god fairy left a first aid kit in the bathroom closet, which contained precisely the dressings I was looking for.  Oh yes, I must remember that Mom can’t use tape containing latex.  She’s allergic to it.  So we have plenty of paper-based tape on hand to hold bandages against the skin.

01:20 AM: Santa, please, no candy, cookies, cakes, syrupy confections, or any other sugary items for Christmas. I hope to begin my sixth decade of life by ending of my love hate relationship with sucrose. Thank you.

01:35 AM: Mom just bought a 26” Vizio LED TV with 1080p resolution and Internet capability. You can Facebook and Twitter on it, get instant weather reports for any town you please, download and over a hundred thousand movies on Netflix, and view your favorite TV shows that you might have missed when they aired initially. Awesome! No, televisions are not just televisions anymore.  With this thing, even DVRs approach obsolescence.

03:55 AM: iPodded and watched Mom’s new TV for a couple hours.  I really like it.

04:00 AM: Headed for bed now.  Tomorrow shall be a day of cleaning up here at the house, in preps for [Emmy's] arrival in the late afternoon.  Thus I’ve got to rest up for that.  So good night, and I’ll press out a few more words then.  Take care.
