10:00 AM: I’m up. Helped Mom to the bathroom and gave her her morning meds.
11:00 AM: Sister Jojo and her daughter stopped by to help with Mom. They’re meeting the twins here to do some pre Black Friday shopping.
01:20 PM: [Emmy] left a message on my voice mail to say that she was on the train and that they were just leaving Pittsburgh. She’s excited to spend Thanksgiving here.
01:30 PM: Worked the Christmas Lighting: 2010 project throughout the first part of this afternoon.
02:00 PM: Grabbed a roast beef sandwich and Reese’s peanut butter cups at Sheetz for lunch.
03:05 PM: Nephew Garrett arrived. We’ll be heading to the train station to pick [Emmy] up.
03:15 PM: Mom’s sister stopped by to check on her. She saw Garrett’s and Jojo’s cars in the parking lot and apparently wanted to know what was going on in here.
03:40 PM: Garrett hung out with Mom and we watched some of the Steelers football game on Mom’s new flat screen television.
04:15 PM: We’re here at the train station and [Emmy's] train is just pulling in now. It’s a bit late today and it looks like lots of folks are getting on it here in Altoona. It’s good to see train ridership rising.
05:00 PM: We made a little shopping trip of picking up [Emmy] as well. We stopped at Lowe’s per the Christmas Lighting: 2010 project, and also bought some steak subs for supper from Domonic’s of New York.
05:15 PM: We’re home again.
05:45 PM: Helped Mom to the bathroom and gave her her evening meds.
10:00 PM: Watched the 2010-11-10 episode of Larry King Live on the DVR, in which he interviews Judge Judy.
11:30 PM: Helped Mom to bed.
11:35 PM: With all the running around today and hours outside putting up Christmas lights, I’m bushed. So we’re off to bed. More tomorrow. Good night.
