I keep this food diary to stay aware of just how many calories I’m eating daily, with the hope that it decreases the likelihood that I’ll overeat. It seems to work, so here we go with another day…
Today, I consumed the following items:
- Herbal tea throughout the day. 0 calories.
- 11:00 AM: 1 turkey sandwich on pumpernickel bread with mayonnaise. 400 calories.
- 12:00 PM: 2 cups of orange juice. 220 calories.
- 01:00 PM: 1 plate of yesterday’s thanksgiving leftovers. 1000 calories.
- 01:20 PM: 1 bowl of mashed potatoes with gravy. 500 calories.
- 06:00 PM: 1 bowl of pineapple soufle’. 300 calories.
- 06:05 PM: 1 cup of skim milk. 80 calories.
- 09:00 PM: 2 turkey sandwiches. 800 calories.
Total calories: 3300.
