08:00 AM: I’m up and working the Flood: 2010-12 01 project. It’s been raining steadily all night and we’re under a flood warning here until early tomorrow morning. So, sister Jojo called to have me check out back to make sure no water is going into our tool shed or basement. So far, the floor of my paviliion is under several inches of water; though nothing in the tool shed just up the yard has gotten wet yet. But it’s still raining and the river is still rising. So I’ll have to check out there periodically throughout today, and if the river moves any closer to the shed, I’ll move the lawn tractor and other at-risk outdoor appliances up to the east parking space behind the house to position them a couple feet higher than they are now.
12:00 PM: Worked the Christmas Lighting: 2010 project. I received some LED bulbs today and spent much of this morning screwing them into the strings where they’ll reside for the duration of their little blue lives.
01:00 PM: Got Mom up and gave her her morning meds.
04:00 PM: Watched today’s episodes of The Young and the Restless and Dr. Phil on the DVR.
04:10 PM: Nap time. Back later.
04:50 PM: I’m up again.
05:20 PM: Worked the Christmas Lighting: 2010 project some more this afternoon. I added several strings of lights to the outside display.
05:20 PM: Monitored the shrinkage of the river out back, per the Flood: 2010-12 01 crisis. It’s back within its banks now, so I’d say that this flood is over. Wasn’t too bad, as we experienced no damage this time around.
10:00 PM: Worked the DJ Gig: 2010-12-31 project, adding more 2010 music to my digital library of recordings. [Emmy] watched the Hallmark movie November Christmas while I did this.
11:45 PM: Helped Mom to bed and dispensed her night meds.
12:00 AM: Now, it’s my turn to go to bed. More tomorrow. Good night.
08:00 AM: Mom requires assistance. So I’m up temporarily.
08:30 AM: Gave Mom her morning meds and I’m going back to sleep for a couple more hours. So, though the morning daylight is streaming through the windows, I bid you again, good night.
