Log
08:00 AM: I’m up because Mom requires assistance.
08:20 AM: Mom’s in her easy chair now and comfortable.
10:50 AM: I Facebooked a while and mailed that school tax form back in that I received the other day. I owe nothing, which is quite the relief.
11:30 AM: Walked to Sheetz for some Reese’s peanut butter cups and some ice cream for milk shakes later.
02:00 PM: Watched today’s episode of The Young and the Restless on the DVR.
06:30 PM: Watched the 2010-12-13 episode of Dr. Phil; titled Violent Teens on the DVR.
06:00 PM: Dispensed Mom’s evening meds and helped her into and out of the shower. She’s now going to the kitchen to clean the refrigerator and extend her Christmas village scene that sister Jojo helped her set up last weekend on the kitchen hutch.
07:00 PM: Made milk shakes for Mom and me. Great for her, as these are among the only things she enjoys consuming very much of these days.
07:30 PM: Called [Emmy]. We’re now listening to the Penguins hockey game, which is nearing the end of the first period. No score so far.
10:00 PM: The Pens lost tonight for the second time in a row. Wow, we’re just coming off a 12-game winning streak, into a 2-game losing streak. Grrrrr.
10:30 PM: Worked the Christmas Lighting: 2010 project. I replaced and repaired a few faulty light strings outside.
10:50 PM: Worked the DJ Gig: 2010-12-31 project. Added some more music to my DJ media library.
12:20 AM: Helped Mom get ready for bed and dispensed her bedtime meds. She’s sleeping in her chair tonight.
12:30 AM: It’s my bedtime as well. I need to get to sleep quickly so I can achieve the most lengthy unbroken sleep before Mom calls for help in the morning. So good night, and take care. I’m sure I’ll have more to write tomorrow.
Received Mail and Shipments
- Misc. bank papers.
- 1 Christmas card.
- Disenrollment notice for my drug coverage provider. This was expected, as I’m switching plans in January.
