08:00 AM: I’m up. Mom requires assistance. Dispensed her morning meds.
02:00 PM: Dispensed Mom’s lunchtime meds.
03:00 PM: Watched today’s episode of The Young and the Restless on the DVR.
06:0 PM: Finished all pending laundry. But the washer banged and limped along. It wouldn’t spin the one load until I went down and dried off the main belt; there are leaks that wet the belt with soapy water too much if used for too many consecutive loads, and this causes it to slip excessively, and prevent the tub from spinning.
07:00 PM: Dispensed Mom’s evening meds.
11:00 PM: Ordered a new wasning machine. This time, we decided to go with the Maytag Bravos MVWB750WQ machine. We found it among ths highest rated in Consumer Reports magazine. It’s got good reviews, is not terribly expensive, and while it’s not quite as energy efficient as the several that they rated higher, it has a better cleaning rating. So we’re happy with the selection. I found that Home Depot offered the cheapest price (checked Lowe’s, Home Depot, and Amazon).
11:30 PM: Worked the DJ Gig: 2010-12-31 project for several hours throughout today. Continued the feverish pace of adding as much new music as I can to the DJ library before this gig.
11:40 PM: Dispensed Mom’s night time meds and helped her to bed. That’s where I’m headed as well. So take care, and I’ll jot out more tomorrow. Good night.

- Notice that our flood insurance coverage will no longer be offered by our current carrier after our current policy expires. We are not required to take any action at this time however, as this letter states that we’ll receive all the appropriate instructions about how to complete the switch to the government’s direct flood insurance program as the expiration date on our current policy approaches.
