09:00 AM: I’m up.
02:00 PM: spent most of this afternoon taking down and repairing more of the outdoor Christmas lights, per the Christmas Lighting: 2010 project.
03:15 PM: Watched the 2010-12-12, 2010-12-19, and 2010-12-26 episodes of CBS’s Face The Nation news show on the DVR.
04:50 PM: Watched today’s episode of The Young and the Restless on the DVR.
06:55 PM: Just awoke from a nap. I might be catching a cold. It’s too soon to tell. But I’m feeling a bit of tenderness and dryness in my throat, and I seem worn out. I’ll have to monitor this condition over the next couple days to see if it indeed explodes into a full-fledged cold. I hope not. I’m so tired of getting colds that I’m sick. 
08:15 PM: Watched the 2010-12-12 and 2010-12-19 episodes of CBS’s 60 Minutes news show on the DVR.
09:30 PM: Gathered up several bags worth of garbage in the cellar; everything from old SCSI and serial computer cables to hundreds of incandescent Christmas light bulbs and parts. I’m hoping in this new year to get rid of lots of junk, to downsize my life a bit.
10:25 PM: Watched CNN’s Losing Lennon special from the DVR; a mini documentary that traces the murder of John Lennon.
11:55 PM: Watched yesterday’s and today’s episodes of Dr. Phil on the DVR.
12:30 AM: Bed for us all. More tomorrow. Good night.
