09:00 AM: I’m up. Today, I plan to complete the weekly system backups, that I’ve not done for the past few weeks. 
The holidays, you know. I’ve been on vacation. I’ll also watch the remaining shows on the DVR that [Emmy] wants to see. Want to clean up that disk before [Emmy] leaves next week. We’ll wasn a few loads of clothes for [Emmy] too. Finally, a couple more inches of snow fell overnight. So I’m going to clean off the sidewalks around the house this afternoon.
12:00 PM: [Jack] called to wish us a happy New Year. I talked with him for an hour or so, catching up on our Philadelphia friends.
01:00 PM: Swept our sidewalks, and activated the roof heaters. There’s enough snow up there that I don’t want to risk over sized icicles forming, and these heaters help alleviate that problem.
02:00 PM: [Emmy] and I perused through my 2010 music to create a 2011 play list for our iPods. So far, we’ve chosen 80 songs for the new list.

03:00 PM: Put away some laundry from the past couple days, and [Emmy] sorted out some clothes of hers that require washing before she returns home next week. I’ll throw them into our rickety washer later this afternoon.
04:00 PM: Watched the 2010-12-04 episode of CNN’s Larry King Live talk show, that featured the world’s richest man, Carlos Slim. He’s also known as the 53.5 billion dollar man.
06:05 PM: Watched the 2011-01-02 episode of CBS’s 60 Minutes news show on the DVR.
08:30 PM: [Emmy] opened the remainder of her Christmas gifts tonight by our Christmas tree in Mom’s sitting room. She got several food serving spoons, a non stick, medium-sized muffin pan, a second Marpac Sleep Mate which she has now idea where she’ll put yet, and a Pur water filter. I’ll definitely have to ship some of this to her, as she’ll not be able to carry it all onto the train home.
09:10 PM: Washed approximately six loads of clothes, sheets, dish cloths, Etc., and am in the process of folding all of that and putting it away.
10:15 PM: Watched the 2011-01-05, 2011-01-06, and 2011-01-07 episodes of Dr. Phil on the DVR.
11:50 PM: Watched the 2010-12-08 episode of Larry King Live, in which he interviews actress Angelina Joli and singer Celine Dion.
12:10 AM: All laundry has been completed and [Emmy] has hers just about all packed. Loaded and started the dish washer then.
12:30 AM: Heading to bed. More later. Good night.
