09:00 AM: I’m up. Today, I plan to help [Emmy] to the train station and get somewhat caught up on the deluige of back email that’s filled my inbox over the holidays, when I neglected it sorely. I’ll also investigate a blowing circuit breaker that feeds our roof de-icing heaters.
02:40 PM: We hung out most of the morning and well into the afternoon, reminiscing about the holidays just past and how we’re sorry that they’re over and went by so quickly. But now, we’re replacing that mourning with anticipation of the winter snows to come, and the warming of spring that follows those.
02:45 PM: Walked to Sheetz to get two chicken veggie subs for [Emmy] and me to have for lunch. Back in a few.
03:05 PM: I’m back, and we’re enjoying this wonderful-smelling lunch now.
04:05 PM: Leaving now to take [Emmy] to the train station. Back later.
06:00 PM: I’m back home. Would have been here sooner. But the train was unusually packed with college kids today, and around 130 of them de-trained here in Altoona according to an attendant that knows us well.
09:30 PM: [Emmy] called to say that she made it home safely, on an uneventful train ride.
10:30 PM: Helped [Emmy] over the phone, to install the latest version of Winamp (V. 5.6) on her computer.
11:00 PM: Worked the Roof De Icing Heater Failure: 2011-01-09 project throughout the evening. I have a better idea of where the leakage to ground is happening. I hope to find the actual trouble spot tomorrow.
12:50 AM: Watched the 2010-12-23 episode of NBC’s Nightly News news show on the DVR.
12:55 AM: Processed and filed about 100 of the approximately 150 email messages in my inbox. I’ll completely clear the remaining 50 this week.
01:00 AM: Bed time. More tomorrow. See ya then.
