09:00 AM: I’m up. Today, I plan to perform the weekly web site system backups, continue clearing off more of the older TV shows on the DVR, gathering up another bag of rubbish in the cellar, and figuring out how much Mom owes me.
10:45 AM: System backups have been initiated.
11:45 AM: System backups complete.
11:50 AM: Watched the 2011-01-07 and 2011-01-09 episodes of NBC’s Nightly News news show on the DVR.
11:55 AM: Applied all outstanding plug-in updates to all blogs (just 1 plug-in update this week.
12:00 PM: Upgraded all blogs from WordPress 3.0.3 to WordPress 3.0.4. No problems found so far.
12:15 PM: Posted the Disabling Post Revisions: WordPress 3.0.4 piece.
01:10 PM: Posted the Weekly Backups: 2010-12-18 piece.
01:15 PM: [Emmy] called, wanting to listen to the Penguins matinee hockey game this afternoon. So I’m carrying the the phone around with me as I complete my tasks around here.

02:30 PM: Gathered up enough trash for another large garbage bag in the cellar.

04:00 PM: The Penguins just defeated the Bruins, 3 to 2. Now, I’m taking a nap. Back later.
05:15 PM: I’m awake again.
05:25 PM: Added more information to the Shopping Trip: 2010-11-29 piece.

08:00 PM: Watched all remaining episodes of NBC’s Nightly News on the DVR, including tonight’s. I’m caught up with this show now.
08:55 PM: Watched the 2011-01-14 episode of Dr. Phil on the DVR; the Mom Before Prom episode which, as the title suggests, dealt with teen pregnancy and one pregnant teen’s battle with her parents over whether she should keep the baby or put it up for adoption. Now, I’m all caught up on the Dr. Phil episodes.
10:15 PM: Spent an hour talking to [Emmy] on the phone while I walked around the basement, looking for more stuff to throw out. I’ve got a few old computers down there that should be recycled. But I wonder where I would take them. Hmmm.
10:45 PM: Facebooked a while. Friend count: 357. Fan count: 86.
11:40 PM: Watched the 2011-01-02 and 2011-01-09 episodes of CBS’s Face The Nation news show on the DVR. I’m now current with this show as well.
11:45 PM: Bed time. So good night and take care. I’ll peck out more words here tomorrow.
