Today’s Diet: 2011-01-18

I keep this food diary to stay aware of just how many calories I’m eating daily, with the hope that it decreases the likelihood that I’ll overeat.    It seems to work, so here we go with another day…

Today’s weight: 181.0 pounds; down one and a half-pounds from yesterday.  2011 year low so far: 180.5 pounds. The high weight for 2011: 183.5 pounds.

Today, I consumed the following items:

  • Herbal tea throughout the day. 0 calories.
  • 05:40 PM: 2 clementines.  80 calories.
  • 05:45 PM: 1 can of Campbell’s Chunky vegetable beef soup.  240 calories. 
  • 05:45 PM: 1 can of garbanzo beans (chick peas).  350 calories.
  • 05:50 PM:  A heavy sprinkling of Parmesan cheese on the soup.  75 calories.
  • 05:50 PM: 1 multivitamin.  0 calories.
  • 05:50 PM: 1 cup of blueberry pomegranate juice.  50 calories.
  • 08:25 PM: 2 cups of orange juice.  220 calories.

Total calories: 1015.
