Today’s Diet: 2011-01-22

I keep this food diary to stay aware of just how many calories I’m eating daily, with the hope that it decreases the likelihood that I’ll overeat.    It seems to work, so here we go with another day…

Today’s weight: 178.5 pounds; down 2.5 pounds from yesterday.  The 2011 year low weight so far: 178.5 pounds. The high weight: 183.5 pounds.

Today, I consumed the following items:

  • Herbal tea throughout the day. 0 calories.
  • 12:50 PM: 1 large bowl of ham and bean soup.  600 calories.
  • 01:00 PM: 2 cups of orange juice.  220 calories.
  • 04:00 PM: 1 cup of pomegranate blueberry juice.  50 calories.
  • 05:30 PM: 2 cups of pomegranate blueberry juice.  100 calories.
  • 07:15 PM: 1 cup of skim milk.  80 calories.
  • 08:53 PM: 2 cups of orange juice.  220 calories.
  • 08:55 PM: 2 slices of pumpernickel toast with margarine.  300 calories.
  • 09:00 PM: 1 multivitamin.  0 calories. 
  • 11:00 PM: 1 bowl of Cheerios with raisins and skim milk.  500 calories.

Total calories: 2070.
