Today’s Diet: 2011-01-23

I keep this food diary to stay aware of just how many calories I’m eating daily, with the hope that it decreases the likelihood that I’ll overeat.    It seems to work, so here we go with another day…

Today’s weight: 180.0 pounds; up 1.5 pounds from yesterday.  The 2011 year low weight so far: 178.5 pounds. The high weight: 183.5 pounds.

Today, I consumed the following items:

  • Herbal tea throughout the day. 0 calories.
  • 02:15 PM: Chinese chicken cashew & vegetable meal.  700 calories.
  • 02:25 PM: Egg drop soup.  300 calories.
  • 05:00 PM: 8 small pieces of chocolate.  300 calories.
  • 05:00 PM: Six Wheat Thins crackers, topped with artichoke dip.  400 calories.
  • 07:00 PM: Some sort of taco or enchilada-like dish.  400 calories.
  • 08:00 PM: 2 pieces of “Pumpkin Delight” cake.  400 calories.
  • 10:00 PM: 3 cups of orange juice.  330 calories.
  • 11:15 PM: 1 cup of pomegranate blueberry juice.  50 calories.

Total calories: 2880.
