07:00 AM: I’m up. Brrrrr. It’s cold outside, at -4 degrees F on the east porch.
08:00 AM: Counted out some change to pay for the trip to visit Mom this week, and to find some nickels, I dumped my entire jug of change on the floor; all 18 pounds of it. I guess I used all the nickels near the top in past containers, and so, after excavating several handfuls of money without seeing any, I spread it all out on the floor. But now, it won’t all fit back in the jug. Hmmm, it will have to settle again I suppose.

10:50 AM: Leaving to visit Mom at the nursing facility. Back later.
03:10 PM: I’m back home again.
04:05 PM: Watched today’s episode of The Young and the Restless on the DVR.

07:45 pM: Watched today’s episodes of Dr. Phil and NBC’s Nightly News on the DVR.
09:30 PM: Watched yesterday’s episodes of CBS’s Face the Nation and NBC’s Nightly News news shows on the DVR. Now, I’m calling [Emmy] for our nightly chat.
11:00 PM: Watched tonight’s episode of Hawaii Five-0 with [Emmy].
11:05 PM: Bed time. More tomorrow. Good night.
