Today’s Activities
- Shower. DONE.
- Cat duty. DONE.
- Wet-wipe the kitchen floor. IN PROGRESS.
- Pay all (4) pending bills. DONE.
- Wash all (4) loads of pending laundry. 14 loads done in the new washer since we’ve had it. So far, so good. DONE.

07:45 AM: I’m up. Looks like a sunny day is on tap for us here in central PA today.
10:00 AM; Paid all outstanding bills for Mom.
11:00 AM: Called Mom’s PCP doctors office to ask them to re evaluate Mom’s eligibility for in-home hospice care. They’ll call back with an answer by the weekend I hope.
03:30 PM: Mom’s been approved for in-home hospice!!! So, she’s coming’ home tomorrow. They’ll tend to her bathing and other cleaning needs three to five days per week. Wonderful.
04:00 PM: Changed sheets on Mom’s bed and vacuumed her bedroom in preps for her return home tomorrow.
04:30 PM: Washed all pending laundry. Now, we’ve washed 14 loads in our new washer since we bought it.
04:35 PM: Nap time. Back later.
05:30 PM: I’m awake again.
06:00 PM: Made some orange cream cheese Jello for Mom when she returns home tomorrow, and heated up a bowl of that ham and bean soup for supper that I made a couple weeks ago. Delicious.
06:15 PM: Watched today’s episodes of The Young and the Restless and Dr. Phil on the DVR.
07:00 PM: Changed all sheets, pillow protectors and pillow cases on my bed.
07:30 PM: Watched tonight’s episodes of NBC’s Nightly News and The CBS Evening News.
09:30 PM: Keyworded a few more posts in the Tom’s Views blog. Now, I’m talking with [Emmy].
10:30 PM: Now, as my final act for today, I’m laying down to bed. Enjoy your night and I’ll write more pieces tomorrow. Take care.
